Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 14, 2025 Last Updated: August 1, 2026
FnButton, a DBA of AnaNick LLC, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be collected, used, and protected when you visit our website, contact us, or work with FnButton.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect information, including:
- Name, email address, and phone number
- Business information shared through forms or consultations
- Payment information processed through third-party providers
- Communication records related to support or service inquiries
- Website usage data, such as browser type, device information, IP address, and page activity
When you check a consent box on one of our forms, we also record the exact wording of the sentence you agreed to, the date and time you agreed to it, and the IP address the submission came from. We keep that record so both of us can tell later what was actually agreed to.
If you request an AI Visibility Scorecard, we also collect the website address you enter and the results we generate for it. Section 3 explains that.
2. How We Use Your Information
Information may be used to:
- Respond to inquiries and service requests
- Communicate about services and next steps
- Improve workflows, support, and customer experience
- Process payments through secure third-party providers
- Improve website functionality and performance
- Send occasional service-related updates or communications
- Prepare and deliver the report you requested, and follow up about it
FnButton does not sell personal information.
If you leave advertising cookies switched on, the Meta pixel shares identifiers with Meta so we can tell whether our ads reached the kind of business we were trying to reach. Some state privacy laws call that sharing rather than selling. You can switch it off at any time using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page.
3. The AI Visibility Scorecard
If you enter a website address into our Scorecard, our server requests publicly available pages and files from that address, the same kind of request any search engine or AI crawler makes. Nothing is submitted to the site, no form is filled in, no login or credential is used, and nothing private, internal, or password protected is accessed.
We store the address you entered, the resulting score, the breakdown we generate from it, and an internal version marker for the method used. We keep the version marker because the method changes over time, and a score means little without knowing which version produced it.
Scores are directional. They describe what machines can read on a publicly reachable page at the time of the scan. They are not a guarantee of search ranking, of appearing in any AI assistant's answer, or of any business outcome.
4. Text Messages and Marketing Consent
Some of our forms include an optional checkbox authorising us to contact you by text message as well as email. The following applies to that checkbox.
- It is optional. Checking it is never a condition of receiving a report, a quote, a reply, or any service. If you leave it unchecked we will still answer you, using the details you gave us, about the thing you contacted us about.
- What it covers. Occasional messages from FnButton about AI visibility and our services. It does not authorise marketing from anyone else, and we do not share or sell your number for that purpose.
- How to stop. Reply STOP to any text message, or email [email protected]. You can withdraw consent at any time and it takes effect for all future marketing messages.
- Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply. We do not charge for messages.
- What we keep. The exact sentence you agreed to, the timestamp, and the IP address, as described in Section 1.
Replying to a message you sent us is not marketing, and we treat it separately from the consent above.
5. Third-Party Services
FnButton may use trusted third-party platforms to operate parts of the website and business, including communication, analytics, payments, hosting, automation, and customer support.
These services may include:
- Google Workspace
- Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Microsoft Clarity
- Meta, for Facebook and Instagram advertising measurement
- Stripe
- PayPal
- Trustpilot
- Brevo, for email
- Zoho Assist
- HubSpot
- Hostinger, which hosts our website and the private server that stores form submissions
These providers may process data in accordance with their own privacy policies and security practices.
6. Cookies and Your Choices
This website uses cookies in three groups. You choose which of them run, and you can change your mind at any time.
- Necessary. Remembering which of these choices you made, so we stop asking. This one cannot be switched off, because remembering your answer is the thing it does.
- Analytics. Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which tell us which pages people actually use and where they get stuck. Clarity also records how a visit moved through a page, including mouse movement, scrolling, and clicks.
- Advertising. Meta, covering both Facebook and Instagram, so we can tell whether an ad reached the kind of business we were trying to reach. This is one setting rather than two, because Facebook and Instagram share a single tracking pixel and cannot be separated.
Analytics and advertising are both on by default and both can be switched off. Necessary cannot be switched off.
To change your choices, use the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page. Your answer is stored in a cookie named fnb_consent on your own device for 180 days.
Switching analytics off stops Google Analytics and Clarity. Switching advertising off stops the Meta pixel and erases the cookies it had already set on that device.
Your browser also lets you block or delete cookies for any website, ours included. That works independently of the settings above.
7. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and then for as long as we reasonably need it for our own records or to meet a legal obligation.
- Enquiry and lead records, including the consent record, are kept while we are in contact with you and afterwards as a record of what was agreed.
- The IP address attached to a submission is part of that consent record and is kept with it, because it is part of how we can show what was agreed to and when.
- Scan results are kept so a first scan and a later one can be compared.
- Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the analytics provider.
If you want information associated with you deleted, see Section 9. Where we can delete it, we will. Where we need to keep a record of a consent you gave us, we will tell you what we are keeping and why.
8. Data Security
FnButton uses reasonable administrative and technical measures to help protect submitted information. However, no online platform or method of transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights related to your personal information, including the ability to:
- Request access to information associated with you
- Request corrections or deletion of information
- Opt out of marketing communications, by email or by text
- Change which cookies run on your device, using the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of any page
- Withdraw a consent you previously gave
- Request information about how your data is used
Requests may be submitted using the contact information below. We will not treat you differently for making one.
